What are B-Stock guitars?
B-Stock guitars are new guitars that may have a small cosmetic blemish, which does not affect playability or tone. While blemishes will vary, these guitars still retain their manufacturer's warranty. The guitars are set-up at the factory, then we hand inspect each one in store. The guitar's specific condition is described in the listing. Any marks/scratches will be noted. We then complete a full factory setup and hand-inspection before shipping.
The Fender FSR Limited Edition '70s Jazz Bass takes visual and performance cues from basses of the golden age of funk, rock, and disco. The full-figured ash body looks especially stunning in a natural finish with 3-ply black pickguard. Meanwhile, Fender's chunky "C" maple neck with bound maple fingerboard and block inlays exudes '70s soul. The Fender Pure Vintage 75 single-coils are punchy and articulate, with a smooth low end that breaks up especially nice into your favorite tube amp. From rock to metal, blues to soul, with the Fender FSR Limited Edition '70s Jazz Bass, you're ready to take on whatever selection your bandleader can throw at you.
Fender's Pure Vintage 74 Jazz Bass single-coil pickups are built period correct, with enamel-coated coil, cloth-covered output wires, fiber bobbins, and Alnico V magnets. They pack a smooth, round low end, punchy midrange, and toothy treble - the essence of the mid-'70s sound. The Fender FSR Limited Edition '70s Jazz Bass capably covers jazz, funk, rock, and nearly every style of music you can expect to encounter in a live or studio setting.
One of the standout features of the FSR Limited Edition '70s Jazz Bass is its '70s-era "C" neck profile. This gives you the fast feel of a modern Jazz, but with a little more wood to hold onto when you're laying down a groove. The classic 7.25"-radius maple fretboard is expertly bound and adorned with block inlays and vintage-tall frets for a great '70s look and playing experience.
